Short and plain: what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do.
Who fills in our form
Our donation form is for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us their details, email us and we will delete them.
What we collect
The name, email and optional phone number of the parent or guardian, a ZIP code, and details and photos of the item. We do not ask for a street address on the website. Volunteers arrange the pickup or drop-off by email.
How we use it
Only to arrange your donation and to tell you when your item sells. We never sell, rent or share your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
What is public
When an item sells, its title, category, sale price and one photo may appear on our Impact page. Your name and contact details are never shown. Please avoid photos that show people or your house number.
How long we keep it
Contact details are deleted 12 months after your item sells or is declined. Sale records without personal details are kept so we can report what we raised.
